Trick or Treat
Costumes: Make your own from worn out sheets etc. when all over donate to a local good will or St. Vincent Depaul, or tear into rags.
Find a clothing consignment shop or Ebay to be rid of outgrown or unwanted costumes.
Treat Bags: Buy or make bags that can be used year after year.
Pumpkin Carving: Save those seeds , drizzle with oil and season with your favorite seasonings any thing from garlic to cinnamon & sugar bake @ 250 degees for 1 hour. From trash to treat Yummy!
When your Jack O Lantern has lost its appeal toss into the compost pile.
Trick-or -Treating: Instead of driving everywhere walk your own neighborhood (dont forget to recharge you flashlight batteries)or look for community Halloween events.Nursing homes/ Retirement centers sometimes welcome the kiddies to go room to room.
Treats: Packaging and wrappers generate tons of trash consider apples ,oranges or non food treats such as coins or pencils.
